Description
The Legal Web/ILS Coordinator will participate as a member of the Corporate Legal Library team in developing, designing, and maintaining legal and information delivery platforms. The successful applicant will manage and oversee the Corporate Legal intranet in coordination with the Director of Law Libraries and members of the Legal Systems Group in a manner consistent with the needs of our customers. This position requires a broad set of technical, problem solving, and communication skills as well as attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Plans, designs, develops, and implements Corporate Legal SharePoint intranet sites by analyzing user requests and requirements. Oversees Legal Integrated Library System for knowledge sharing and distributes all print and electronic resources to customers. Manages Library Catalog, adds records for new materials as received, and maintains catalog records to reflect current/changing collection. Participates in developing web-based services and tools in response to the needs of the Library's users. Proactively evaluates new and existing technologies and practices to anticipate and implement those solutions. Effectively designs, tests, debugs, and documents programming mindful of best practices and following internal standards. Checks in all Library material and keep collection current. Files and updates Library materials.
